The Land Registry announced on the 9 th of November a planned change to the submission process relating to the AP1.
As of November 2022, you will no longer be able to attach pdf’s to their AP1 within their portal but you will be required to retype your form content into their new data collection system or alternatively you can use a provider that has that pre- built and utilises the HMLR Business Gateway.
I’m pleased to say that this service has been available for the last 3 years from FormEvo however we can enhance this service by giving you the ability to initially submit your SDLT to HMRC through our secure sdlt.co.uk portal and then re-use the data to auto populate up to 94% of the Business Gateway AP1 form saving considerable time and reducing the opportunity for potential errors. With commercial transactions you can also link directly from the SDLT submission through to Companies House forms and part auto populate the MR01 Register of Charge.
