 What was needed
     
    We were approached by Ward Hadaway, one of the leading law firms in the North East of England, to develop a client-facing document system. The web-based application was needed to improve the communication with clients and so that current and historical documents could be stored and easily accessed by both the client and the relevant team member.

 What we did
     
    After evaluating the needs of the Ward Hadaway staff members and their clients, we created the following:

A completely web-based application to utilise the power of the internet and to ensure that there was a common standard that every client would be able to use.

To host the server internally to Ward Hadaway, complete with all the necessary security systems

The development of both a client and an administration system so that categories could be created documents could be uploaded, notes added and clients added to the system easily.

The system has entered trials with a few key Ward Hadaway clients and the response has been very positive. Ultimately, they see the system as being very beneficial not only in providing additional services to existing clients but as a key feature in securing new business.

Inovica are now moving the document system to a rentable platform so that any legal practice can have their own system.

 Update
    Inovica duplicated, and enhanced, the functionality of the document management system to provide a centralised copyright management system. This new system, run independently from the original document system has been designed to store a large number of documents that clients can gain access to from any web browser.
