In a "Coals to Newcastle"
brief, Silicon Valley operation Pure Collagen contacted
Inovica to ask them to develop a specialised ecommerce
website and backend system to drive the worldwide expansion
of their innovative anti-wrinke cream and to automate
as much of the sales process as possible. |

After researching the market, and
the Pure Collagen clients own requirements, we established
the need for a very specific ecommerce site that would
have a clean design, but with a fresh, lively feel. The
company was looking to expand into other areas, so we
ensured that the site functionality and interface was
flexible enough to accommodate multiple products as well
as an easy complete rebrand if this was necessary.
For the back-end system, automated invoicing, announcement
and automated stock requests were built in as standard
as was the ability for the Pure Collagen administrators
to add new products without any technical knowledge.
The entire site, thanks to our modular programming methodology,
only took a few weeks to design, develop and launch. |

The result |

This development, for a client
operating in a timezone with an eight hour difference,
could have been difficult, but thanks to the project management
systems that Inovica have in place the process was relatively
easy. The site to date has taken hundreds of orders and
this is with no increase in staffing thanks to our automation
and focus on systems from the outset. |
