What was needed |
| |
|
|
| |
|
The Ordnance Survey, a UK-based
Government mapping agency, approached Inovica to develop
a revolutionary CD-ROM targeting suppliers and professionals
working within the GPS industry. Working closely with
this large government agency, Inovica was able to rapidly
develop this "Geodetic Toolkit", providing a
useful information resource to the community. |

What we did |
| |
|
|
| |
|
In order to produce an authentic
CD-ROM for this professional market, Inovica worked in
conjunction with a specialist Geodetic agency, Quest Ltd,
who were able to provide the expertise critical to the
projects success. The final toolkit also included free,
previously commercial software, complete versions of supplier
websites, as well as links to live data on their sites
- a true one stop source for all geodetic information. |

The result |
| |
|
|
| |
|
The distribution of the CD-ROM
was via cover mounting onto various magazines. The scope
of the toolkit escalated towards completion of the project,
but our good relationship with the CD duplication plant
enabled us to deliver the increased total of 15,000 CD's
to each publisher before their print deadline.
As a public relations exercise, the success of the CD-ROM
was phenomenal. The Ordnance Survey provided feedback
that end-users were delighted with the product. |
