What was needed |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Following a pitch to Nike Europe,
Inovica were contracted to design and develop a CD-ROM
to demonstrate their new technology, called Nike Sphere,
that was being introduced into their apparel range. Inovica
were given a broad creative scope for the design, but
with the focus that the technology be explained in detail.
The product was required in 5 European languages, both
on the CD as well as packaging. We were also told that
a physical product needed to be created that the recipient
would not want to throw away. |

What we did |
| |
|
|
| |
|
With the amount of "junk mail"
that people receive, the product had to entice the recipient
before they even placed it into their machine. The CD
itself was packaged in a presentation box and the inlay
contained an overview of Nike Sphere as well as a piece
of technical fabric to give a tactile element to the product.
Within the CD-ROM, we explained the different forms of
the technology using a 2D animation and 3D flythrough
for each of the four technology types. In addition, the
individual Sphere products were covered in detail, complete
with detailed photography of key areas. |

The CD was distributed to regional
centres, both for journalists as well as to educate internal
teams within Nike. |
