What was needed |

|
|
| |
|
The Worlds leading Aston Martin
restoration specialist, The Aston Workshop, had discovered
the benefits of the internet very early on, developing
their own site in-house and attracting the majority of
their new business from their website. The original site
was becoming dated, so they commissioned Inovica to create
a development and strategic plan for the site which would
ensure that the same easy of use would be maintained as
well as the introduction of new features, content management
systems and sophisticated integration with internal parts,
billing, stock and accounting systems. Subsequently, Inovica
were also commissioned to develop the site and systems
and to work on an on-going basis adding new features and
facilities into the site. |

What we did |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Following a strategic overview,
Inovica produced a new design that fitted with the new
brand identity. A new site was then developed from the
ground up, based around this design. Fully database-driven,
the new site includes a sophisticated content management
system that can be used by all the staff with minimal
training. Online part sales, automatically updating prices
and stock information were also embedded into the developed
systems, linking in with the in-house accounting system
for both orders and sales enquiries. |

The result |
| |
|
|
| |
|
On the site, the number of page
views per visitor has dramatically increased within the
first few months by 300%. The content management features
mean that content is easily updated by the relevant people,
without the need or requirement of specialist knowledge.
The integration of various functions, has speeded up many
previously manual processes and has routed enquiries and
orders to the relevant departments. |
