What do you want to get out of eMarketing?
Monday 19th April 2010
In a world where email is king, how else are you going to easily, and cost effectively keep in touch with your subscriber base? eMarketing is the answer, but as with all marketing techniques you should know what your aims are before you head out on a campaign to conquer.
Here are a number of factors that you might want to consider when assessing your emarketing goals:
- Engaging the end users. How do you want to engage your users, or how are you going to re-engage inactive users? Why should they care about your email?
- What return are you looking for, and be reasonable here. If there's a call for action, what percentage of people are you aiming to get a response from, and define the responses you want to see?
- Target marketing - should you be targeting your entire list, or is this a case for specific marketing to a target audience.
